German Bahamon is a Colombian architectural and urban designer based in London. He hold masters in Urban Design from Columbia University in New York, where he taught for the same program for a studio class in 2019. 

He complemented his studies at the MIT Media Lab, focusing on smart cities and emerging design and technologies. 

In 2020, German and Alejandro Saldarraiga founded the architectural lab Colab-19, developing public space projects in Bogota in direct response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Colab-19’s work has been covered by Harvard University GSD and Metropolis Magazine; it was longlisted in the Dezeen Awards and was recently nominated for the Royal Academy’s Dorfman Award 2022.
